To help support their students' mental health, the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) has made bhworks available to all of the state's Intermediate School Districts (ISDs). There are 56 ISDs in Michigan, with 21 ISDs (approximately 400 schools) already using the software, with another 10 ISDs deploying the software platform by the end of this year.

Before using bhworks, ISDs did not have an organized way to assess and refer students. The MDE is using bhworks in their schools to help therapists, counselors, and social workers maximize the time spent seeing students while streamlining their office tasks.
